Abrasive Cleaning

Hydro Technology can also provide other types of cleaning services through the use of dry ice and sand blasting.

Dry Ice blasting is a process where dry ice is accelerated in a pressurized air stream and directed at a surface in order to clean it. The method is similar to sand blasting, plastic bead blasting, or soda blasting, but substitutes dry ice as a blasting medium. This process requires minimal additional clean up due to fact it leaves no chemical residue as dry ice sublimates at room temperature.

Types of jobs that call for dry ice blasting are:

  • Graffiti removal
  • Weld slag paint area where water cannot be used such as electrical panels
  • Electrical switch gears
  • Printing presses
